  • Let’s begin our adventure in India with its capital city! After your arrival at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International airport, our driver will be waiting for you as you exit the airport and will escort you to the hotel. We recommend arriving before 2 PM, so you arrive in time and get some rest before the welcome meeting at 6 PM followed by the first taste of local cuisine with your tour leader and the group!

    Delhi is one of the oldest cities in the world, a significant urban center and one of the biggest metropolitan cities in India layered with a fascinating history. From ancient ruins to modern buildings,  the city's rich past is evident in the remnants of various empires and civilizations that have shaped its identity over centuries including monuments, streets, and cultural traditions.

  • Start your day with a fun metro ride to Old Delhi. Get ready to be transported to 17th century Delhi where it feels like time stands still. Hop on a rickshaw, explore the labyrinth of bustling alleys and winding streets of the lively market square called Chandni Chowk , visit a Sikh place of worship and dive into the aromas of Asia’s biggest Spice Market called Khari Baoli.

    After a bit of leisure time at the hotel, the afternoon takes a delightful turn with a unique cultural experience. We will be visiting a local Indian family’s home, interacting with them and understanding the lifestyle of locals as well as getting a sneak peek into the big fat Indian wedding and maybe also trying your hand at some Bollywood dancing!  We will conclude your first full day with a  simple and authentic home cooked dinner with the family.

  • It’s time to bid goodbye to Delhi as we make our way to Agra (3-3.5 hours) to fulfill the lifelong dream of visiting the iconic Taj Mahal. After checking-in to our hotel and some leisure time, let’s dress up in saris! Pick your favourite colour and accessories and our local partners/experts will style you and take you through the art of draping a sari. Witness the wonder of the world in all its glory as it takes on the hues of the sunset making it a mesmerising and magical sight and admire this monument of love set in stunning marble built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a testament to his love for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal after her death.

    After changing and freshening up at the hotel, your tour leader will take you out for dinner to a lively and locally popular restaurant.

  • After breakfast, we depart for Jaipur, our gateway to royal Rajasthan (4-4.5 hours)

    Jaipur is a vibrant and culturally rich city popularly known as the Pink City, renowned not only for its heritage and architectural marvels including majestic forts, palaces, and havelis but also exquisite craftsmanship and a vast array of textiles, handicrafts and gemstones.

    After lunch and some solo time at the hotel, it’s time to delve into Jaipur’s artistic heritage as we visit a cooperative that provides employment opportunities to artisans from nearby villages who are keeping the the meticulous craft of block printing alive. Observe their work in a demo as they transform pieces of cloth into colourful art using age-old techniques.

    In the evening, meet the Pink City ladies and get ready for an experience like never before. Jump on in their electric rickshaws for an unforgettable ride through Jaipur as we marvel at the stunning symbol of Jaipur - Hawa Mahal or The Palace of the Winds, stop outside the beautiful Albert Hall Museum, pass by bustling and vibrant streets and break for a delicious cup of chai as the city envelops in orange and pink skies all while supporting an initiative that empowers women to undertake non-traditional roles, break gender stereotypes in a male-dominated field and gain financial independence.

  • Start the morning with a visit to the Amber fort also known as Amer Fort, a magnificent fortress located on a hill near Jaipur.  A UNESCO World Heritage site, this historical fort is renowned for its stunning architecture, intricate design, and panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and is a prominent example of Rajput military architecture.

    Afterwards, we will be introduced to the importance of astrology and its correlation with gemstones in India, especially Jaipur because of its royal history and deep spiritual traditions, through an informative workshop. In fact, the pink city was designed based on principles of nature, astronomy, and astrology.

    In the evening, get ready to enjoy a special Bollywood movie at the famous Raj Mandir theatre followed by a special dinner at a rooftop restaurant.

  • Post breakfast and checking out, we will make our way to Pushkar (2.5-3 hours)

    Nestled along the edge of the Thar Desert in Rajasthan, Pushkar is a tranquil, sacred town known for its spiritual energy offering a contrast to Rajasthan’s cities. After checking into the hotel, enjoy your solo time to relfect and relax.

    Around late afternoon, your tour leader will take you for an orientation walk of the town around the holy Pushkar Lake where pilgrims flock to bathe in its 52 ghats seeking spiritual cleansing. Pushkar is also home to the only Brahma Temple in the world, a rare and revered site. In the evening, enjoy the evening markets and Pushkar’s thriving cafe culture.

  • It’s Pushkar Camel Fair day! Immerse in a vibrant rural carnival which is a blend of traditional and cultural performances, unique competitions, religious ceremonies, music and dance and make the most of this major highlight of the trip.

  • This morning, we are heading to a small village called Abhaneri (4-4.5 hours) best known for Chand Baori, one of the deepest and largest stepwells in the world which was built in the 9th century. Slow down and enjoy a unique heritage stay experience in rural Rajasthan! As we are almost at the end of the trip, we will meet up for a special farewell dinner.

  • Today, we will be heading back to Delhi after breakfast (3.5-4 hours) The rest of the day is free to rest at the hotel or explore more of the city – you can opt for our day tours (customisation available) and your tour leader can assist in arranging them.
